Founded in 1922, CUTTC promotes accessibility for anyone with a passion for table tennis.

Founded officially in 1922, CUTTC has grown and flourished over the last 98 years, where initially there existed only a small men's team and now we boast two competitive men's squads, a women's squad, a level 2 coach and 94 regular players. However, the quality of table tennis has always been high: in 1922, under the captainship of I.S. Montague (King's College), Cambridge lit the flame of victory, defeating our age-old rival Oxford in the first-ever annual Varsity match. This flame burned brighter as a Cambridge Women's team captained by Margaret Hardisty (Girton College) joined the men at the table in 1957. Today, in 2020, the flame persists with Cambridge Men taking their 42nd victory and Cambridge Women claiming their 30th.

We are committed to providing coaching for all our members, functional equipment (balls, bats, tables, etc.), regular training sessions, opportunities to compete in tournaments, entering teams into the BUCS league and above all accessibility for anyone with a passion for table tennis. But, like everything else in this world, running the CUTTC club requires money! Hence, we look to our alumni to make a small donation to support us, your successors, so that we can carry this club to even greater heights. Thank you!
