The University's Disability Resource Centre provides a confidential, professional and accessible service for disabled students and those staff supporting them.

The Disability Research Centre:

  • Provides advice and guidance for prospective and current disabled students to enable them to access a wide range of service
  • Develops and implement support programmes for disabled students to ensure equal opportunity, access and attainment
  • Provides advice, guidance and training for University and College staff in meeting the institutions' duties to disabled students within the context of disability equality legislation.

Ian Mason (Pembroke 1984), was CEO of Domestic & General (‘D&G’), the appliance care specialist, between 2016-2021. Ian very sadly died suddenly and unexpectedly in April 2021. Friends and family, D&G and its employees as well as the private equity firm CVC and its philanthropic foundation have given generously in his honour.
