Trinity Cawthorn Studentships in Crop Sciences

Boosting crop production in response to escalating human demand is one of the greatest challenges the world faces. Our capacity to help solve such global challenges and to increase our understanding depends on our ability to attract, and nurture, the very best graduate students, whose research will help to protect the future of our people and our planet.

Robert Cawthorn’s (1956) generous gift established two Trinity Cawthorn Studentships in Crop Sciences, a joint initiative of benefit to both Trinity and the University’s Crop Science Centre, where the PhD Studentships are based. The first recipients began their research in 2021.
