Prior to the stimulating lecture from Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell entitled "You are made of star stuff", invited guests are encouraged to join guests of honour - Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell and Professor Lord Martin Rees - for drinks and canapés in the Fellows' Garden of Corpus Christi College (or the New Combination Room in the case of inclement weather).
Attendees of the drinks and canapés reception will be guaranteed a seat at Professor Dame Jocelyn Bell Burnell's talk.
