A visit has been arranged for NCS members and their friends to the Great War Huts. This is a fascinating First World War Heritage project, containing original military pre-fabricated huts to house the service men and women who served in the 1914-18 war. You will also be able to see trenches that mirror those used on the western front.The site has been used for several documentaries and film sets. Our guide and speaker for the day is Taff Gillingham a military historian. The visit includes lunch and a talk by Taff Gillingham.
