Gymnastics Club (CUOGC)
The Cambridge University Olympic Gymnastics Club is proud to be a welcoming and rewarding club for students of all abilities.
We are committed to making gymnastics accessible to everyone at Cambridge. Over the years, we have expanded our beginner training sessions and developed opportunities for beginners to compete.
At the same time, Cambridge continues to excel at the top level. The Club had an impressive 12-year winning streak against Oxford at the annual Varsity Men's competition and has gymnasts performing as top athletes at BUCS.
Gymnastics offers students a unique sense of community and personal development. However, participation is becoming increasingly costly. Following the loss of our permanent gymnasium many years ago, we have relied on a temporary setup at the University Sports Centre and training in external gyms.
These sessions incur additional costs for the club and make it harder for members to attend. We aim to keep gymnastics accessible to everyone, whilst also maintaining high-quality equipment and coaching for all members.
With the support of our community, including alumni and supporters, we can continue to provide opportunities for all students to participate and excel in gymnastics.
How your gift could help:
- £10 could help cover the cost of a session for a student.
- £30 could fund our coach to lead a session.
- £90 could support a student’s membership for a term.
- £180 could cover membership for a student for a year
- £2600 could fund all facility hire for a term.
