The Institute of Criminology has a worldwide reputation for excellence in both research and teaching and is one of the oldest criminological institutes in Europe.

Its academic staff are international leaders in their fields, offering expertise in a broad range of research themes. The Institute is a postgraduate department and offers a PhD in Criminology, MPhil in Criminology and two part-time MSts in Applied Criminology for working professionals in the criminal justice field. It also contributes to undergraduate papers in several other departments. It is home to six Research Centres which cover a broad range of criminological topics as well as the Radzinowicz Library which is recognised as a world-class criminal justice resource.

Our priorities for fundraising are to provide studentships and bursaries to our students.
