The Rokos School of Government at the University of Cambridge will prepare the leaders of the future

The creation of the Rokos School of Government is a once-in-a-generation opportunity to expand what it means to be a leader in government. Bridging disciplinary divides, the School will foster breadth of understanding to build new ways of appreciating and advancing a nation’s position in the world, equipping future leaders with the analytical, technological and managerial capabilities to generate positive societal impact.

Rooted in the belief that building a better future requires creativity of thought and new forms of governance, the Rokos School of Government will bring Cambridge’s scientific and technological strengths to the forefront, leveraging our academic excellence in AI, climate science, political science, public health and more, to deliver practical leadership training.

Creating practitioner-in-residence roles and government fellowships, the School’s guiding principle is to generate practical, lasting solutions to 21st-century problems, serving society whilst upholding fundamental human rights and freedoms.

Philanthropic support plays a vital role in accelerating this work, enabling the Rokos School of Government to find new and effective ways of responding to the challenges we face today and in the future. We need the support of partners who share our commitment to this vision.

Tackling the enormous challenges facing our world requires radical new ways of thinking and approaches to leadership. Cambridge, with its strengths across all disciplines and its convening power, is uniquely positioned to drive this innovation.

Help us build a better future

Join the Rokos School of Government’s mission to redefine what it means to be a leader in government.

You can help us to attract the most talented faculty to the Rokos School of Government, recruited from established academic disciplines—political scientists, economists, historians, scientists, engineers and statisticians, amongst others—as well as experts from government, to prepare future leaders, contribute to research and inform the next phase of their own leadership.

You can also help to create a dedicated home for the Rokos School of Government, a new building in the Cambridge West Innovation District, which will become one of Europe’s strategic locations for science, technology and government teaching and research.
