Schola Cantorum
Cambridge’s newest choir, Schola Cantorum provides a high-quality, low-commitment opportunity to take part in services, concerts and other exciting projects around and beyond Cambridge.
Specifically aimed at students with busy lives, and with a University-focussed rather than specifically Collegiate offering, Cambridge Schola occupies a unique space in the Cambridge choral scene which complements the work of existing Chapel choirs and the CU Symphony Chorus and CU Chamber Choir. Evening rehearsals and performances make it easier for our students to combine singing in a top-level choir with their lab or other work, or with another co-curricular activity.
Schola Cantorum receives no funding from the University or Colleges, so we rely on your generosity for our day-to-day existence, providing our students with rehearsal and performance opportunities, sheet music, robes, singing lessons and other benefits.
We are hugely grateful for your support: without you, our students would not have the opportunity to be part of this exciting and varied musical family.
Schola offers a range of benefits to our supporters. Please visit cambridgeschola.com/support for more information.
