Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital
Support the hospital that will change the story of cancer.
One in two of us will be diagnosed with cancer in our lifetime. Despite decades of progress, many cancers are still detected too late, and too many patients receive treatments that are not tailored to them.
The Cambridge Cancer Research Hospital is landmark partnership between the University of Cambridge and the NHS that is a once in a generation opportunity to change this story. Due to open in 2030, at the heart of the Cambridge Biomedical Campus, this state-of-the-art clinical research environment will bring together world-leading scientists, clinicians and industry under one roof.
The hospital includes three purpose-built University research institutes: the Early Cancer Institute Innovation Clinic, the Precision Breast Cancer Institute, and the Institute for Integrated Cancer Medicine. This dynamic space will accelerate the rate of translation from discovery science through to patient benefit, faster than ever before.
The hospital is being funded two-thirds by the Government, with the University and NHS charity partner set to raise £100m in philanthropic donations towards the project. Your gift will help build a hospital where the story of cancer can finally be rewritten.
