Go Far! Cambridge Fundraising and Alumni Relations Internship Programme

A hands-on, professional experience for a career in higher education fundraising and alumni relations.

About the programme

The Cambridge Fundraising and Alumni Relations Internship Programme is a 10-week immersive experience that has been designed to prepare you for a career in higher education fundraising and alumni relations.

The programme will introduce you to the development and alumni relations profession, providing you with hands-on professional experience. As an intern you will collaborate with leaders from across the collegiate community, delving into the world of philanthropy, acquiring practical experience and gaining valuable skills along the way.

I really valued the focus on developing both professional and personal skills. The learning days deepened my theoretical knowledge, consolidated team skills, and included workshops with the wider Cambridge community and other interns. The additional opportunities like communications and career coaching strengthened my soft skills and helped me gain confidence in a professional seting. On top of that, the free accommodation and pay allowed me to fully focus on and enjoy the programme while saving some money.
