The Cambridge University Women's Basketball Club (CUWBbC) includes the Women’s Blues (Firsts) and Panthers (Seconds) teams, each comprising up to 15 registered players.

We field two teams, the Blues and the Panthers, who both compete in BUCS League competition, as well as competing in the knock-out Cup competitions. Every year, both teams come together along with the Men’s Club to play our annual Varsity match against Oxford, where all four University teams compete in one day.

The Club relies on annual subscriptions of £150 from Panthers players and £180 from Blues. We try to keep subs down to make our sport accessible, but our costs include venue hire, registration fees, and transport. Your support allows us to keep subscription costs down and improve our club. We were recently able to provide a full set of matching kits for the Second Team thanks to your generosity.

With your support, we are currently aiming to be able to hire coaches or minibuses to travel to away games. This would mean a safer journey home without players having to drive themselves and their teammates while tired after the match.

Please note that the club is able to claim Gift Aid on donations from UK taxpayers giving via the University's fundraising campaign, at no additional cost to the donor.
