Supporting exceptional artistic and educational activities at Cambridge that would not otherwise be possible.

Thank you for your interest in supporting the Centre for Music Performance. It is my great privilege to lead this exciting, ambitious and important initiative, embedding music at the heart of the Cambridge experience for all students, while also strengthening the University’s role as one of the world’s great centres for developing exceptional young musicians. Music was an integral part of my time at Cambridge as a student, and I was pleased to continue my involvement through eight years as Chair of the Cambridge University Musical Society.

Now, as the Centre for Music Performance looks to a future of increased investment in an enriched musical ecosystem, I am immensely grateful for your interest in joining the Supporters' Circle. It is my hope that the Centre for Music Performance and its vision will resonate with you, and that you will recognise in its activities a means to enable current and future generations to enjoy the richest possible educational experience during their time at Cambridge.
