This online panel brings together four women whose work spans poetry, storytelling and campaigning, to share the personal moments that shaped their relationship with water, from quiet peace to a deeper sense of belonging. Expect warmth, honesty and a shared love of the water that has changed who they are.
- Ella Foote (Chair): Journalist, writer, editor, and year-round outdoor swimming expert
- Tessa Wardley: Writer, Director of Communications and Advocacy for The Rivers Trust, and adventurer
- Polly Atkin: Poet and non-fiction writer, and lake swimmer
- Corynne ‘Speech Debelle’ Elliot: Co-Founder of We Are Black Fish
This event is being hosted as part of Cambridge University Library and Pembroke College's exhibition, Living Water: Poetry, Art and the Fight for Clean Rivers.
