The Faculty of Philosophy boasts more than 30 academic philosophers as well as approximately 150 undergraduates and 50 graduate students.

The Faculty has a strong focus on research related to metaphysics, logic and language, philosophy of mind, ethics, philosophy of mathematics, philosophy of science, political philosophy and Kant. The School encompasses music, English, architecture, the history of art, philosophy, religion, classical antiquity, the study of Asian and Middle Eastern cultures and modern and medieval languages.
