St Catharine’s College in Cambridge is inviting applications for an Alumni Relations & Events Officer to join the Alumni and Development Office (ADO). Established in 1993, the ADO is a busy, friendly office, as it is the main point of contact for alumni of St Catharine’s. The ADO fundraises for the College and organises a wide programme of events for alumni. With a new £65 million campaign currently in its second year, it is a particularly exciting time to be joining this small and dynamic team.

Is required by the Development Office, providing an exciting opportunity to experience work in development and alumni relations. You will be joining a successful team, reporting to and working closely with the Events and Communications and Manager, and other staff in the office to assist with communications, administer the annual events programme, dispatch mailings, and undertake general office administration.
Annual Salary within the range £19,886-£22,566 per annum depending on experience

In addition to general administration, the post holder will be involved in the running and administration of a range of alumni and supporter events both in the College and elsewhere as directed by the Development Officer (Events and Communications).

Newnham College wishes to appoint a Deputy Development Director on a fixed term basis to cover a period of maternity leave. Reporting to the Development Director, you will manage the Development Team and work to develop productive relationships with College alumnae and donors.
As the interim Development Manager (Major Gifts) you will join an ambitious Alumni Relations and Development team where you will have responsibility for a portfolio of around 100 to 120 mid-level donors and for identifying and approaching new potential donors. The role is to cover maternity leave for the existing post holder and is expected to be for a minimum of 12 months (including handovers).
