Clare Hall is a research-based college within the University of Cambridge, one of two admitting only postgraduate students. Founded as an Institute for Advanced Study, it also maintains the largest programme for visiting academics in either Oxford or Cambridge. With an egalitarian ethos and the smallest student population, the College’s academic community is uniquely integrated. The College additionally hosts annual endowed events of international significance including the Tanner Lectures, the Tanner Ashby Lecture and the King Lecture.
