Help support students at Cambridge experiencing unexpected financial hardship.

Our students are not immune to the growing financial pressures of today’s world.
While Cambridge offers many scholarships and studentships to ensure that students can take up their place here and gives additional bursaries for those who need it, unexpected financial need nevertheless arises. Students may find that their financial situation at Cambridge is not as stable as anticipated due to changes in family circumstances, loss of income, broken or stolen equipment, or many other reasons.

This uncertainty can cause substantial financial anxiety, affect mental health and prevent our students from focusing on their studies and making the most of University life.

We are incredibly grateful for gifts that help us to address these sorts of hardships.
Thanks to generosity from donors, the University and Colleges can make funding available to students to alleviate unexpected financial loss and expenditure. We have helped students to get home safely when urgently needed, pay rent or buy necessities, and make up for loss in income. This is only possible because of generous support from many alumni and friends.

We are truly grateful.
