The Captains’ Campaign
CUSWPC is looking for help to address the challenges it faces around student participation and accessibility. The increasing costs of membership for students acts as a barrier to access. Currently, subscription fees start at £350 for swimmers and £200 for water polo players, increasing with transport, pool hire, swim meet entry fees, coaches and training camps of upwards of £1000 for swimmers and £700 for water polo players. Due to the lack of a University swimming pool, the Club incurs pool hire and transportation costs for home fixtures and meets in addition to the costs for coaching and buying kit.
The Club is looking for support to help assist with student membership fees as well as work towards our ambition for a University swimming pool.
